It’s been busy over here but I wanted to update my blog with a couple of highlights before the month of February goes by as fast as January did.
First, I am composing music for Sword of the Necromancer: Revenant, which is currently in the last 10 days of a successful Kickstarter campaign. I’m very pleased to be involved with the sequel to this popular indie game and I’ve already had the chance to write some super fun new music. Development is already well underway and it’s looking quite nice. This game will release on all platforms when we’re done.
And another! The beautiful and super calming Magical Delicacy was announced yesterday. I am composing the soundtrack for this game as well. You can see a very lovely debut trailer here and find more details on the official webpage. The Steam page is also up and we would totally appreciate your wishlisting. The response has been very warm already in just one day!

I’m very happy to share that the Kickstarter for Hibernian Workshop’s beautiful upcoming game Astral Ascent has just launched. This frame-by-frame, hand-animated, gorgeous title has been in development for the past year and the studio is seeking to launch it 100% fully self-funded. This campaign will help them reach that goal.
For this past year I’ve had the pleasure of writing music for this fantastic game. You can hear a lot of my work in the campaign, the new soundtrack preview playlist, the new trailer (shown above), and in the playable demo!
Among the exciting pledge rewards for the Kickstarter is physical copies of the game (PC and consoles) as well as my soundtrack!
If you’d like to wishlist this on Steam, here you go! It’s here that you’ll also find the free demo!
We’re only into day two of Dreamscaper’s Kickstarter and it’s 75% funded! I’ve been working on this for a year now so seeing the support and feedback this past couple of days has been amazing. I’ve dreamed of a soundtrack I could dump my heart into and this is definitely it. A demo has been released alongside the Kickstarter and it’s a very meaty one with two levels, bosses, tons of powerups and options, and lots of my music.
Speaking of: The latest update on the Kickstarter today is a deep dive into my musical process for the Dreamscaper soundtrack. It took us some time but we came up with a musical soundscape that rides a wavy line between dream and nightmare. In the feature I get into some of the musical approaches I took to get this kind of sound. Plenty of audio examples are included. I’d love it if you’d give it a read.
